“Topsham’s Avocet” - Limited edition print

Topsham’s Avocet is a celebration of one of the most graceful and iconic birds of the Exe Estuary. With its striking black-and-white plumage and distinctive slender, upturned beak, the avocet stands as a living symbol of conservation and natural elegance along these tidal shores.
This piece was inspired by a serene evening spent at the bird hide in Topsham, watching a group of avocets as the sun began to set. While the rest of the flock bustled about, two birds stood still as the sunlight glimmered across the water and through the reeds on the mudflats.
The original painting, with my signature textured and distressed gold, has been expertly reproduced as a limited edition fine art giclée print by my specialist arts photographer and printer in Taunton. Their exceptional skill has faithfully captured the depth, sheen and subtle nuances of the original gold gilding, making this print a true museum-quality work.
Topsham’s Avocet is a quiet invitation to pause, to enjoy the beauty of nature and to reconnect with the wonder of the place we are lucky enough to call home.
The original painting has sold making this fine art giclée print a limited edition.

Framing
I do not typically offer framed prints, as framing is a highly personal choice and it’s important to choose a frame that suits the style and colour of your decor.
For the finest presentation of your artwork, I highly recommend consulting your local professional framer. They can provide expert guidance on selecting the perfect frame, mount and specialist options such as non-reflective glass or even a frameless finish. Professional framers also handle all technical aspects, including the use of acid-free materials to ensure the longevity of your fine-art print.
Please feel free to explore your options and check all sizes before purchasing, and please do not hesitate to get in touch if you require further advice.
