Great Tit Original Art… “A love of home”
Great Tit – “A love of home” - A mini-original painting of a beautiful little Great Tit bird.
There’s something bold and full of life about a great tit. They’re not shy about making themselves known, their bright markings, sharp eyes and confident little calls. With around 40 different songs, they always appear to have something to sing about!
But did you know that even among great tits, personalities vary…Shy males prefer the company of fellow introverts, while the bolder birds in the flock are risk-takers and explorers. Just like us, they have their own natural personalities, likes and dislikes.
Yet, despite their energy and curiosity, great tits are deeply rooted to home. Unlike many species, they never migrate, ‘staying put’ even through the harshest of winters. They brave the changing seasons right where they are, problem-solving and thriving in their own way. There’s something comforting in that, a reminder that we don’t always need to chase something new or far away to find what we need. Strength isn’t just about seeking new horizons; sometimes, it’s about staying, growing and trusting in where we are, no matter the season, and that can take great strength too.
