Goldfinches strike me as little symbols of friendship; vibrant and social. They are rarely seen alone, always in pairs or flocks, chattering away.
This artwork captures two goldfinches facing each other in companionship: A quiet sense of understanding between them.
Goldfinches are known for their gentle and friendly nature. They gather in flocks called “charms” (a fitting name). Even in winter, when the world turns quiet, they seek each other out, finding comfort in company. They remind us that friendship isn’t about grand gestures, it’s about being there in the best times, but also during darkest moments.
This artwork is a tribute to the beauty of Goldfinches, and of friendship: A nod to those who lift our spirits just by being near.
