I’ve been asked quite a few times ‘why lobsters’? There are a few reasons; I find them aesthetically pleasing, they’re fascinating and I have always lived near the ocean. But a significant reason is the symbolism: Lobsters realise that it’s time to change when they become uncomfortable and have outgrown their existing shell. They have to become vulnerable and shed their hard outer shell, but this transformation allows them to continue to grow and develop. Taking risks, listening to your inner voice and using adversity in order to encourage personal development and growth, are, in my humble opinion, all things worth being reminded of.
